FOUNDATION
JARDÍN ALADO

Jardín Alado is a place dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and returning freedom to wild animals, especially birds of prey. Here, every animal that arrives finds an opportunity to heal, recover, and, hopefully, return to the wild, which is its true home. Our work is a demonstration of love for life and the natural environment that makes our country unique. We believe in giving the best to these animals, respecting their value and place in the world. In this space, every being has a story to tell, a lesson to teach us about the importance of caring for and coexisting with nature.

MISSION

We are an organization dedicated to the care and protection of birds that have been deprived of their freedom in the wild and need specialized attention to live well in captivity.

We have proposed to implement educational programs that promote respect and love for nature, creating awareness in those who visit the various centers that house wildlife in captivity. We are committed to the planet and to people. Every day we work to build a society more conscious of the well-being of the environment, its flora and fauna.

VISION

Our organization seeks to become the main ally of wildlife rescue and management centers, generating a positive impact on society and its way of relating to nature.

In this way we will contribute to a future in which the life of every living being is respected and valued in equity. We believe in a brighter tomorrow, and we are committed to a more caring and environmentally responsible society.

HIGHEST NUMBER OF RESCUED BIRDS

We are pleased to share the collaboration of our founder, Paúl Tufiño, which helped establish a new Official World Record in the Environmental category: 'Highest Number of Wildlife Species Rescued by a Police Unit'.

Thanks to the tireless work of the National Police Environmental Protection Unit, over the past 10 years, 32,150 wild animals from various species—many of them endangered—have been rescued.

This achievement makes this unit the one with the highest number of recorded rescues worldwide to date, standing out as a benchmark in biodiversity protection and the fight for environmental conservation.
